Broken Antiquities

My Amphora series was my first foray in to the art world as a body of work. This series incorporates my love of the Age of Antiquity, the Amphora (and other ancient pottery shapes) and turning wood with a natural edge.  Artorius, the third amphora I made won best in show at Gallery 1505. Calliope, was accepted into Craftforms 2018 Exhibition of Contemporary Fine craft.  It did not win an award but was one of the first pieces to sell, which is an award in it's own way.
